Krifft & Zipsner – We move with system

As one of the global market leaders for the production of pile turner, transport and conveyor systems, Krifft & Zipsner GmbH stands for high quality and system availability.

We have been designing and realising projects for such clients as the global market leaders Bobst AG, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, Koenig & Bauer AG, manroland, Stock Maschinenbau GmbH, to name but a few, for over 25 years. As an owner-managed, nationally and internationally operating company, this guarantees Krifft & Zipsner its place amongst the industry leaders.

The company was established in May 1993 by our Managing Director Klaus Zipsner, and now has three production sites in Steinebach/Sieg. Our high level of vertical integration has given us the high level of flexibility required by the market.

From steel cutting to final assembly and the complete functional test of our systems, everything is in our hands.

The manufacturing processes sawing, welding, painting and mechanical CNC processing as well as the electrical manufacturing with the control cabinet construction belong to our competence profile.

The highest quality, dependability and on-time delivery are of particular importance to us.

Final assembly is in our new production hall. The mechanical and electrical assemblies for professional conveyor systems and pile turner are assembled there.

Direkt gegenüber der Endmontagehalle befindet sich die professionell ausgestattete Elektro-Werkstatt. In der Elektrofertigung werden die Schaltschränke und die Kabel für unsere Transportsysteme und Stapelwender jeweils kundenspezifisch vorbereitet und fachgerecht zusammengebaut.

In the final assembly, the assembly of all components and the complete functional test of our machines and systems take place. Due to the spatial proximity of our designers for final assembly, constant monitoring of the plant commissioning is ensured.

Only after internal acceptance and determination of the fulfillment of our high quality standards is the release for dispatch to our worldwide customers.

We currently employ more than 150 people in the company, complex tasks on a daily basis at our company in order to complete individual customer orders in a professional, timely manner. The employees realise innovative, individual solutions for our global customers in the packaging and printing industries. It is only by knowing the wishes and needs of their customers and by possessing many years’ expertise in the market that a company can offer them professional solutions. Irrespective of their duties – consulting, design or the assembly of the individual customer projects on site – our employees continually receive training and further training in the pertinent department.

To this end, we work very closely with the OEMs in the packaging and printing industries, and are proud to include these global market leaders and many more amongst our partners of many years’ standing. We develop logistics systems for the fully-automatic operation of printing machines, for punching machines, for laminating and foiling equipment, folder gluers and cross-cutting machinery, even when the machines operate in non-stop mode. We stand for creative, high-quality systems and innovative solutions for the conveyance and the preparation of printing and packaging products.

Since it was founded over a quarter of a century ago, Krifft & Zipsner has designed, produced and delivered over 2,500 machines and conveyor systems. In addition to national printing and packaging companies, we deliver our logistics systems and machinery to market-leading companies in Europe and the whole world. Of particular note are the sales cooperations with our representatives Mr. Axel Conrads (CICODS) in Chicago, who is working with us to expand the North American market.
